| Morecambe Bay is situated on England’s northwest coast. It is a huge sandy bay with a magnificent backdrop of the Lake District and Bowland Fells. There is an abundant bird life and diverse marine habitats in the Bay, making it one of the most important wildlife sites in Europe. Due to sinking sands and changing tides, for your own safety, you must not venture out onto Morecambe Bay unless accompanied by an official guide, appointed by the Queen. |
