Rydal Mount was the home of Wordsworth for 37 years where he wrote and revised many of his poems including the world famous Daffodils and became Poet Laureate to Queen Victoria. The house & gardens are situated in the picturesque village of Rydal described by Dr. Thomas Arnold, as “Nowhere on earth have I ever seen a spot of more perfect and enjoyable beauty”.
