| Buy your ticket in the restored Victorian station building for a leisurely ride through the beautiful South Tynedale Valley. The trains are hauled by preserved steam and diesel engines from Britain and abroad. The return trip to Kirkhaugh takes about 45 minutes: why not ride in our buffet car and enjoy refreshments during the journey? The station at Kirkhaugh has no road access but there are many footpaths nearby so you could stay a while to explore, perhaps take a picnic, and catch a later train back. |
